Senior Product Designer - Next-Gen Browsers

The Opera team behind our authentic browser experiences is seeking a creative and motivated Product Designer who is passionate about crafting beautiful, innovative, and highly polished digital products used by millions worldwide. If you have a strong eye for aesthetics, love experimenting with new design trends, and enjoy pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in UI and visual design. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop and refine products from conception through implementation.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Design stunning, high-quality user interfaces and explore creative visual concepts that elevate the overall product experience.

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system that balances beauty, usability, and innovation.

• Create user-centered designs by incorporating market analysis, customer feedback, site metrics, and usability findings.

• Prototype interactions and animations to bring polish, delight, and clarity to the user experience.

• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and marketing teams while staying ahead of design trends, new technologies, and emerging UI patterns.
  

Job Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, with over 10 years of experience in UI/Visual/Product Design and a strong portfolio showcasing high-quality, refined work.

• Proven experience designing for B2C or SaaS products, ideally in areas related to browsers, search, or other consumer-facing platforms.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and other modern prototyping tools.

• Experience conducting user research and translating insights into impactful, user-centered design decisions.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and leverage AI tools in the design process.
  

An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:

• Has experience in animations, user testing, and validating design concepts, as well as working on B2C or SaaS products related to browsers, search, or other consumer-facing platforms.
