Finance Analyst

Your key responsibilities will be: 

• Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans by consolidating and analyzing financial data.
• Maintain and improve regular financial and operational performance reporting processes.
• Provide variance analysis and insights into financial performance to support decision-making.
• Perform detailed financial analyses to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct scenario planning and sensitivity analyses to support business case development and strategic initiatives.
• Track and measure the performance of cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with finance colleagues and business stakeholders to gather insights and ensure alignment on financial objectives.
• Prepare and present findings, analyses, and recommendations to management and cross-functional teams.
• Support functional managers by delivering actionable insights into financial and operational drivers. 
• Provide an analytical support for the key strategic and central business projects and initiatives.
• Close collaboration with the Head of function in order to identify areas of productivity and results improvement.
• Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting tools.
• Leverage technical expertise in tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI to improve data visualization and reporting accuracy.
• Contribute to the automation of reporting and data consolidation processes to streamline operations.

Skills and experience we are looking for:

• Min. 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or related fields.
• Exposure to working in a fast-paced environment, preferably in retail, FMCG, or a similar industry.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Accounting or finance certifications (ACCA/CIMA/CPA) in progress or completed are a strong plus.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar data visualization tools.
• Advanced English proficiency enabling fluent communication in speaking and writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of financial principles, accounting practices, and business processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
