Job Description

As a Medium Voltage Application Engineer, you will report to the EMEA ETO Engineering Manager and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.

You will design and configure medium voltage applications, including drives, soft-starters, and motor control centers. You will create electrical diagrams and bills of materials, and collaborate with customers across the EMEA region, as well as internal teams such as mechanical designers, project managers, and manufacturing.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design and configure medium voltage equipment according to customer orders and specifications.
• Prepare bills of materials, electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings.
• Perform technical reviews of customer specifications and drawings.
• Collaborate with project manager and customers to finalize designs.
• Work with team members, including mechanical designers and system programmers to develop design solutions.
• Support manufacturing and procurement during project execution.
• Propose product and process improvements.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Engineering degree (electrical or automation preferred).
• 3+ years of experience in electrical, control and automation field.
• Knowledge of motor control and industrial automation applications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, or similar CAD software.
• Fluent English.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

• Experience working in an international environment, both externally and internally.
• Experience in controls and automation field.
• Experience with switchgears, motor control centers, drives, and soft-starters
• Experience with medium voltage applications.
