As our Business Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth in southern Poland. You will be responsible not only for acquiring new clients, but also for building lasting partnerships and ensuring top-tier service. Main responsibilities:
Active sales of Samskip services and market development (focus on southern Poland),
Building long-term relationships and maintaining sales in your region,
Meeting sales targets and monitoring the market for new opportunities,
Liaising with the operations team and suppliers on service offerings,
Working closely with the Customer Service Department in Gdansk to ensure the highest standard of service,
Communicating new products and service improvements,
Regular meetings with customers and periodic travel to Gdansk or headquarters (Netherlands).
What we are looking for:
Knowledge of the full sales cycle,
Background in the transport industry, especially container shipping (preferred)
Strong communication and negotiation skills,
Great organizational skills and ability to work independently,
Very good level of English (speaking and writing),
At least 2 years of experience in sales,
At least 2 years of experience in the shipping and logistics industry (road FTL or container/intermodal – preferred).
