Content/Translation Manager (German language)

All-in-one SEO and digital marketing platform SE Ranking is looking for a Content/Translation Manager (German language) to join its team. We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive professional who is excited to take on new challenges. 

Responsibilities:

• Localize English materials from marketing and other teams into German, ensuring the tone and message align with the local market.
• Collaborate on the localization of in-platform texts, adapting content to resonate with German-speaking users.
• Write and edit German articles for the company website and/or multiple social media accounts.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop content for various materials.
• Proofread and edit spelling, grammar, and syntax for content across different formats, multimedia channels, and digital platforms.
• Prepare, rewrite, and edit texts to improve readability while ensuring content meets the company’s or client’s needs and follows our internal style guide.
• Optimize published pieces according to SEO guidelines together with the SEO team.
• Ensure every piece of content adds value to its target audience, whether external clients or internal sales teams.
• Review and edit the final translated versions for quality and accuracy.
• Work closely with the German Marketing Manager, who will primarily lead the content localization and creation process, ensuring alignment with overall marketing goals.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of proven experience working in a similar role.
• Native or bilingual German speaker with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced English proficiency to communicate effectively with other teams.
• Experience in proofreading, content formatting, production, and understanding audience engagement metrics.
• Experience in editing and writing high-quality content, including bylined articles, landing page copy, sales enablement materials, e-books, case studies, SEO content, and more.
• Basic SEO knowledge with a keen interest in expanding SEO skills and best practices. Experience working in a SaaS business is a plus.
