Design Engineer

SENER is an engineering company of Spanish origin with an established position on international markets. In Poland, its activity is focused on the space industry.

SENER Poland started its activity in 2006, and since 2012 it has been focusing on creating innovative solutions in the field of space engineering for the most important ESA missions as EXOMARS, EUCLID, JUICE, BIOMASS, FLEX, ELECTRA, ATHENA or PLATO and commercial programs as ONESAT. SENER Poland is specialized in two areas of mechanical engineering:

- Hold-down and Release, Deployment, Separation and Pointing mechanisms.

- Mechanical Ground Support Equipment (MGSE), used for satellite Integration and Testing.

SENER Poland cooperates with over 50 entities from all over the country. It invests in the development of its employees, who additionally benefit from technology transfer and the support of an international company.

Responsibilities

• designing devices and mechanisms for the space industry
• designing Mechanical Ground Support Equipment for space devices
• conceptual work on new solutions in accordance with the requirements specified by the client
• preparation of project documentation, operating instructions, test plan
• preparation of executive documentation, drawings and BoM
• preparation of proposal documentation
• designing with the use of CAD/CAE software
• participation in tests and works related to the integration of devices/systems
• organizing the work of the project team

Our requirements

• experience in the space sector is a must
• higher technical education: space engineering, mechanical engineering or related
• > 3 years of professional experience in a similar position
• experience in the design and AIT of mechatronics or robotics.
• very good command of the English language
