Business Data Analyst – VBA

Currently, we are looking for a Business Analyst for our Business Automation Team.

The person in this position will be responsible for the maintenance and delivery of End User Developed Applications (EUDAs) and executing solutions for business and functional needs. This includes providing technical solutions to end-users, analysis and design, specification, development, configuration, testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing monitoring and support.

Additionally, the team is responsible for the implementation of automation tools available within the BNP Group, including Power BI, Alteryx, and the BNP workflow tool.

Your role

• Maintain and develop EUDAs
• Develop and implement automation use cases using available automation tools, including Power BI
• Work with business representatives on determining user requirements based on current and future needs
• Design, develop, test, debug and document applications according to the functional requirements
• Act as an information source for other employees whilst continuing to learn and develop technical skills
• Provide technical and project management expertise across multiple areas of application development
• Support training and professional development for staff members as needed to perform job duties
• Perform peer reviews, capture review comments and track until closure

Your skills

• Very good skills in VBA in MS Excel
• Good knowledge of Power BI and MS Access
• Experience in the maintenance, development, and implementation of EUDAs, procedures, and guidelines to support operational processes
• Strong design skills for user interface screens, process logic, and reports
• Ability to translate design specifications into functional and efficient code
• Knowledge of financial instruments would be an asset
• Fluency in written and spoken English
