Financial Information Data Consultant (German)

As Data Consultant you are supporting sales and local pre-sales consultants to ensure a successful integration of SIX Financial Information data content and products into the clients (or partners) infrastructure. The main focus of the Consultant is to understand the prospective clients requirements in terms of data content and format, check the availability and suitability of the required data and provide samples to proof the feasibility and to ease the customers implementation of our data. You will become part a worldwide network of consulting experts and will significantly contribute to our ambitions growth targets on a global scale. This position is offered under a replacement contract.

What You Will Do 

• various types of pre-sales related data analysis like coverage checks, client portfolio related market and content analysis, data sample extractions for specific client needs

• compilation and processing of standard reports or reporting requests on demand

• supporter and enabler for account managers to successfully close and subsequently implement new deals in the sales pipeline

• customer trainings and education for selected products (SIX iD)

• proactive contribution to the global network and consultancy community within the Sales organization of SIX Financial Information

• handling of support tickets

What You Bring

• ability to work independently and with a high awareness of responsibility and quality

• good presentation, documentation and communication (oral and written) skills

• background in financial service industries and respective data classes, like market and reference data

• affinity to information technology, analytics, analytic tools like Excel and data base handling (Basic programming and SQL skills are of advantage)

• fluent in English (oral and written), solid German language skills are of advantage

• open minded, creative and curious personality
