We are seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to join a nimble, fast-growing AI team working with medium and large companies. This is a high-impact role where you will help build and scale our outbound engine, directly influencing revenue growth and the shape of our sales organization.
In this role, you will work closely with the founding team to generate high-quality sales opportunities through strategic, multi-channel outreach. You will be on the front line with prospective clients, opening doors for new deals and helping shape how customers experience Softwise.AI from the very first touchpoint.
Areas of responsibility
• Prospecting and pipeline generation: Research and identify ideal target accounts, build contact lists, and run tailored outbound campaigns (email, LinkedIn, phone) to create new opportunities and keep a healthy pipeline. Consistently document activities, next steps, and opportunity status to ensure accurate forecasting and smooth collaboration with the sales team.
• Client relationship building: Lead high-quality first conversations with prospects, quickly building trust and understanding their business context, pains, and goals. Position Softwise.AI as a knowledgeable and reliable partner by asking smart questions and clearly articulating the value of AI solutions in their environment.
• Solution collaboration: Work with founders, sales, and technical teams to shape tailored proposals, discovery agendas, and next steps that move opportunities forward. Support handover into later sales stages by clearly capturing client needs, stakeholders, and success criteria in CRM.
• Data-driven execution: Track key SDR metrics (activities, connection rates, meetings booked, SQLs) and use them to continuously refine messaging, targeting, and process. Stay current on AI trends and competitive offerings in our space to adjust outreach angles and talk tracks.
• Market and feedback loop: Share structured feedback from the field about objections, use cases, and market signals with the leadership team. Contribute ideas to improve our ICP definition, messaging, and go-to-market experiments based on what you see working in conversations.
What you will achieve
• Help build a new AI sales motion for medium and large companies in CEE and beyond, becoming one of the early members of the revenue team.
• Develop end-to-end sales skills, from research and prospecting to qualification and supporting later-stage conversations.
• Deepen your understanding of practical AI applications, tools, and market trends by working closely with founders, engineers, and clients.
• Build a clear path to roles such as Account Executive or Sales Manager as you demonstrate consistent performance and ownership.
Must-have skills
• Excellent communication skills (spoken and written), with the ability to structure clear, concise outreach and lead confident discovery calls in English (C1+).
• Solid understanding of AI concepts and B2B AI solution landscapes, or strong curiosity and demonstrated ability to learn quickly.
• Strong organization and time management, with a disciplined approach to managing tasks, priorities, and follow-ups in a CRM.
• High ownership mindset, accountability for results, and comfort working with clear activity and SQL targets (e.g., 20+ Sales Qualified Leads per month).
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience is a plus but not mandatory if you can show drive, resilience, and coachability.
• Experience using CRM and outbound tools (e.g., Apollo, Waalaxy or similar) is an advantage.
