Job description
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in a dynamic, global organization? As a Financial Controller, you will be at the forefront of ensuring financial transparency, accuracy, and strategic alignment within our organization. This role offers the unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in financial reporting, IFRS standards, and consolidation processes while collaborating with talented colleagues who are as passionate about finance as you are.
Responsibilities
Create and manage financial annual and interim reporting and ensure its alignment with the organization's business processes
Drive creation of consolidated accounts according to IFRS (MSSF) reporting standards
Prepare both consolidated reporting packages and standalone financial statements
Create policy and supervise the correctness of application of the accounting principles in the group
Implement consolidation process after M&A post-closure transactions
Maintain and evaluate internal controls and performance measurement metrics
Contribute to the external and internal audit process
Preparing the annual budget and rolling forecasts as well as monitoring their implementation and analyzing variances (OPEX)
Control of cost (Opex) and implementation of cost-saving initiatives based on financial data
Providing reliable management information for decision-making to the Management
Development of management reporting in collaboration with Controlling and relevant Stakeholders
Pro-actively and effectively communicate with various stakeholders
Take part in ad hoc projects and have the opportunity to drive projects on your own
Develop as a professional in a global, innovative and dynamic organization with opportunity to work with highly skilled colleagues
Requirements
Master’s degree in economics, finance or accounting
5 - 7 years of experience in a similar role
Experience in the implementation of consolidation reporting
Practical experience in improvement of reporting and consolidation process
Extensive knowledge of IFRS and Polish Accounting Act.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and reporting systems
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
Business-oriented mindset
Interest in innovation and solving complex problems through the application of technical knowledge and tools
Good planning and organizational skills
Motivation and can-do attitude
Great communication skills
