We are a Polish branch of a fast-growing InsurTech product company from Silicon Valley - Hippo Insurance. Our mission is to revolutionize home insurance in the US, starting from IoT monitoring devices to our industry-leading software.

What You'll Do:


  • Work closely with Product Designers to develop effective UX copy across all stages of the customer journey, including landing pages, complex lead forms, sales channels, client-facing and internal platforms, and mobile app.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Designers and Growth Marketers to create impactful marketing campaigns that convert traffic into sales or leads, including crafting slogans and content for landing pages, social media ads, emails, and in-platform notifications.
  • Important: this role requires a mix of UX Writing and Copywriting skills. A 50/50 split is ideal, but it can shift depending on what the projects needs.
  • Review business needs and craft engaging copy to match.
  • Focus on prioritizing, planning, delivering, managing and maintaining content across various platforms and channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice and simplicity.
  • Create and update content throughout our users’ entire journey, from sales content in ads to explaining benefits on landing pages and clear communication in sales flows.
  • Work with a range of professionals, including Product Designers, Graphic Designers, Design Ops, Product Managers, Marketers, and Engineers.
  • Implement a content design strategy to enhance the value of our products.
  • Use insights and feedback to refine content strategy, drawing from user interviews, ad manager, and analytics platforms.
  • Be part of a 12-person Design Team (8 Product Designers, 3 Graphic Designers, 1 Design Ops) and report to the Head of Design at a company with +500 employees, listed on the US stock exchange.


Requirements:


  • At least 3 years of professional content writing experience.
  • A portfolio showcasing both UX Writing and Copywriting in commercial projects, including apps, platforms, forms, landing pages, ads, and emails. The format is up to you – just show us what you've done before!
  • Fluent written and spoken English (C1/C2 level) with the capability to produce high-quality short, long, and UX copy.
  • Ability to simplify complex insurance concepts for a broad, US-based audience.
  • Proficiency in Figma (Designers, Marketers, PMs and you will be working there).
  • Skill in presenting and pitching content design enhancements to PMs and Marketers.
  • Self-motivation, proactiveness, and strong organizational skills for managing daily project activities, as this is a solo content design role.


You will get extra points for:


  • Proficiency in American English.
  • Experience in the US insurance industry.
  • Familiarity with working alongside US stakeholders, and adapting to cultural and time zone differences.
  • Expertise in crafting compelling content for both UX and marketing, tailored to US audiences.
