As a Monetization Manager, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, optimizing pricing models, and expanding monetization opportunities. You’ll work at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, and product development, ensuring our revenue model evolves with the market and customer needs.


How will you make an impact:


Revenue Model Design & Optimization:

  • Evaluate and refine monetization strategies (e.g., commission rates, subscription tiers, or listing fees) that align with the company strategy.
  • Identify and test new pricing models (e.g., dynamic pricing or tiered pricing structures).
  • Ensure alignment between user value and pricing strategies.

Revenue Stream Diversification:

  • Explore new monetization opportunities, such as premium services, upselling, or sponsorships.
  • Develop additional services like paid advertising for venues, featured listings, or data analytics for customers.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover insights and present actionable reports to inform decision-making.
  • Use data to influence product features and pricing adjustments in alignment with market trends.
  • Run A/B tests to assess the impact of new monetization initiatives and optimize conversion rates.
  • Benchmark against competitors and understand industry trends to stay ahead in monetization strategies.

Execution and Ownership:

  • Take full ownership of projects from ideation to implementation, ensuring measurable results.
  • Drive initiatives independently, focusing on execution rather than dependency on organizational hierarchy.



What you bring to the team:


Hard Skills

  • Advanced analytical & data visualization skills: Ability to interpret data, measure performance, and derive actionable insights.
  • Business acumen: Strong understanding of revenue drivers, cost structures, and profitability in a marketplace setting.
  • Financial understanding: Knowledge of cost-revenue dynamics, take rates, and transaction models.
  • Understanding pricing models (e.g., tiered pricing, freemium, dynamic pricing).

Social Skills

  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Deep empathy for customer needs to ensure pricing and monetization strategies provide value
  • Interpersonal skills: Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with diverse teams and clients.
  • Problem-solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges effectively.
  • Ownership and execution: High sense of responsibility for delivering results independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Confidence and assertiveness: Having a proactive mindset and ability to push initiatives forward and align teams with strategic goals.

Experience

  • 5+ years in monetization, pricing strategy, or revenue management.
  • Experience in marketplace, SaaS, or digital platforms preferred.
  • Track record of working in global markets (US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Canada).
  • Proven track record of optimizing revenue models and increasing profitability.
  • Based in CET timezone, with at least C1 English level
