At #Tagvenue, a London based EventTech startup, we are a team of energetic, self-driven and positive individuals. We’re building the world’s smartest platform that enables our customers to find the best possible venue for their events. We launched in mid-2015 and within a short period of time we achieved a market leader position in the UK. Currently we're expanding internationally.
We’re seeking a rockstar PR/Content Writer to help us grow further!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Creating various types of content: blog posts, website copy, descriptions of venues/spaces, how-to tutorials, outbound and inbound emails, press releases, new product features announcements and more
- Regularly creating high quality, engaging content
- SEO optimisation of content
- Developing an editorial calendar and ensuring deadlines are met
- Develop good relationships with partners and vendors and work towards creating reports and customer stories
- Help us create newsworthy stories that'll be picked up by media, bloggers, journalists and social media enthusiasts
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in a content writer or PR role
- Writing examples you can provide (can be your own blog)
- Experience writing long form, highly-researched and engaging blog content (2,000+ words)
- Native English Speaker (or equivalent proficiency), with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Extremely detail- and quality-oriented
- Ability to think outside the box, find interesting angles and have the experience of creating the kind of content people can't help but like, share, tweet, and reblog
NICE TO HAVE:
- BSc degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
