Tedee is a rapidly growing smart lock and property technology company, committed to providing innovative solutions for short-term rental property owners and managers. We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Global Short-Term Rental Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for building and selling our smart lock solutions and related services to the short-term rental market worldwide.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a global sales strategy to target the short-term rental market.
  • Build and maintain alliance with the key technology providers in the short-term rental ecosystem.
  • Build and maintain relationships with short-term rental property owners, managers, and platform partners to promote and sell Tedee smart lock solutions and services.
  • Represent Tedee at conferences, industry events, and trade shows, establishing the company as a trusted leader in the smart lock and property technology market.
  • Collaborate with our digital marketing team to create engaging content for partners, social media, and website, tailored to the short-term rental market.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring both parties' satisfaction and success.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting the sales strategy as needed to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Provide regular sales updates and reports to Tedee's leadership team, highlighting successes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the short-term rental, property management, or smart home industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the short-term rental market, including key players, market dynamics, and customer needs.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with diverse audiences and stakeholders.
  • Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to attend conferences, meet clients, and pursue business opportunities.
  • Experience in creating and executing successful content marketing strategies.
