Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for an articulate and confident Video Host who’s as comfortable in front of a camera as they are behind a script. You’ll be the on-screen face of our content — the person who welcomes new users, explains complex ideas in a relatable way, and builds trust from the very first frame. This isn’t about celebrity charisma, it’s about clarity, trust, and a human presence that connects with business audiences. We want someone who treats our camera like it’s a customer.
Key responsibilities
Host product videos (walkthroughs, explainers, feature deep dives) with clarity, warmth, and authority.
Write and edit scripts for videos — from cold opens to outro CTAs — always staying true to our tone of voice and clarity-first style.
Collaborate with product teams to translate product features into engaging stories and structured narratives.
Participate in creative ideation for campaigns, landing pages, and content formats across YouTube, social, and onboarding.
Suggest new formats and video concepts tailored to how people learn, decide, and buy software today.
Stay current with trends in B2B video communication, and actively benchmark against leaders in SaaS, tech, and DTC content.
Requirements
Must-haves:
Native or native-equivalent English with flawless pronunciation, tone, and grammar — your delivery should sound natural and polished without effort.
Documented experience as an on-camera presenter (YouTube, broadcast, corporate, or educational).
Strong scriptwriting skills — you know how to keep things simple without dumbing them down.
Basic understanding of video production (framing, lighting, teleprompters) and openness to remote filming or hybrid shoots.
Confidence in live recordings and the ability to improvise within a structured narrative.
Curiosity about software, customer service, and how businesses grow — you don’t need to be an expert, but you need to want to become one.
Nice-to-haves:
Experience with B2B SaaS or tech products.
Background in journalism, acting, education, or content marketing.
Familiarity with SEO, YouTube analytics, and video performance metrics.
What success looks like
Our videos feel personal, clear, and aligned with the customer journey.
Internal teams ask to “have you host this” because you’ve become a trusted voice.
You increase viewer retention, engagement, and trust, especially in product-critical videos (e.g., onboarding, launches, help).
You contribute ideas proactively, continually seeking ways to improve our screen appearance.
🎥 Lights, camera, you!
To apply for the Video Host position, record a short video (max. 2 minutes) where you explain why it’s worth using LiveChat in an online store (e-commerce).
Important: The video must be in English. We’re not evaluating editing, sound quality, or equipment – what matters is your personality, communication style, and approach to the topic.
Upload your video to any platform (e.g. YouTube – set as “unlisted”, Loom, Google Drive with access), and paste the link in the application form.
We can’t wait to see your video!
How we work
We have implemented a hybrid workplace, in which our team in Wrocław and nearby (up to 50 km), follows a 3/2 model: three days in the office to foster creativity, teamwork, and social interaction, and two days working from home.
If you’re based outside of Wrocław, you'll work in the office for three days each month to maintain valuable face-to-face connections, while continuing to contribute significantly to product engineering remotely.
