We are seeking an experienced Video Editor to join our creative team. If you have a strong sense of aesthetics, an eye for detail, and are ready to make a meaningful impact on diverse projects, we want to hear from you! You'll thrive in our startup atmosphere and work on varied and dynamic assignments. A strong portfolio is a must!
- Editing video content (commercial videos, YouTube, social media formats) while maintaining a cohesive narrative and engaging flow.
- Creating dynamic edits synchronized with music and rhythm.
- Performing advanced color correction and color grading to enhance the overall look and feel of the footage.
- Adding visual effects, animations, motion graphics, and transitions.
- Basic audio editing and synchronization.
- Optimizing video formats for various platforms.
- Staying updated with the latest trends in video editing and content creation to ensure fresh and modern output.
- Managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in at least one of the following video editing software: DaVinci Resolve or Adobe Premiere Pro.
- A strong portfolio showcasing experience in short-form and (if applicable) long-form video content.
- Proficiency in color correction and color grading—you must have a strong understanding of how to enhance footage through color.
- Attention to detail with a strong sense of storytelling and pacing.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
- Skills in motion graphics using tools like After Effects or similar software is an advantage.
- Experience in working with various content formats and platforms (social media, YouTube, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong video editing skills, including structuring narratives, pacing, and transitions.
- Basic knowledge of cinematography and camera operation.
- Sound design or audio mixing skills.
- Experience in compositing and visual effects.
- Familiarity with Nuke for compositing workflows.
