We’re on the lookout for a talented HR Business Partner that will take a very important role, owning a significant part of our people operations, also within the startups that we build. We’re scaling rapidly and we need a strong HR team to guide us through the people's side of it, so that we can keep running smoothly and continue fostering the unique culture and values along the way.
The Heart is a venture builder specializing in creating startups based on digital innovations and R&D projects. It combines the strength of corporations with the flexibility of startups, using its own methodology to build healthy and scalable businesses, minimizing the risk of failures related to the early stage of development. It engages in projects independently or in cooperation with corporate partners, adapting solutions to the needs of the market and customers. It operates within three operating models:

Venture Building - builds startups from scratch based on its own ideas and creates product or service companies from them.

Venture Studio - comprehensively supports creators of scientific or business projects in the pre-startup phase by providing the necessary resources and services, such as HR, marketing or technologies.

Launchpad - supports existing companies in their further development, helping to scale their operations and strengthen their market position.
The role
Our ideal candidate should have solid experience with HR practices. You will have the possibility to work closely with all people across the company, especially with managers, C-level (including CPO) and all the experts to understand the wider business context and the human management needs of a dynamically scaling organization.
As an HR Business Partner you will be engaged in all HR Processes including:
- Providing guidance on the creation and implementation of HR processes and policies
- Acting as a partner to company leaders in all matters related to employee lifecycle (onboarding, development, promotion, and offboarding)
- Support of the recruitment processes and focus on assessment of Founders
- Serving as an expert in building a feedback culture, as well modifying and coordinating the employee performance management
- Taking care of the team development, positive atmosphere and team support
- Strengthening The Heart culture, values and employer branding
- Improving communication inside of the company
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously with ‘the big picture’ attitude
- Coaching and carrying out workshops
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a HR Business Partner (preferably mix of both - a startup and a corporation)
- Comprehensive expertise in managing recruitment processes, from creating job advertisements and customizing assessment methods to align with startup project needs, to making offers and handling negotiations
- Team player mindset, eagerness to learn new things and to share knowledge
- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods to help our employees learn and grow
- Excellent communication skills allowing to build strong relationships with colleagues
- Keeping up-to-date with HR, employer branding and technology-related news
- Being proactive, not afraid of challenges, dynamic work environment or continuously changing needs
- Fluent English and Polish
- Great knowledge of Google Workspace while experience with Notion is nice to have
