Scaling globally, we are seeking a talented (Junior) SEO Specialist to join our remote team of 200+ from around the world.
As a member of our global, remote, marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing the SEO strategy for Tiugo’s brands.
You will play an active role in supporting our growth marketing efforts and will work closely with our content team on content gap analysis, keyword research, and ensuring our content is both competitive and complies with Google’s latest guidelines on high-quality, user focused informational content.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in optimizing on-page SEO, including content optimization, meta tags, headings, and URL structure to improve rankings in search engines.
- Under the direction of the SEO manager, develop and implement SEO strategies to increase search engine ranking results.
- Assist in conducting keyword research, competitive analyses, and content gap assessments to identify and prioritize organic search opportunities for growth.
- Work closely with the SEO manager to review and improve technical SEO, including metadata, redirects, schemas, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals, and conducting regular technical SEO audits to identify issues affecting search engine visibility and provide actionable recommendations.
- Participate in the execution of off-page SEO strategies, including link-building to improve domain authority and search rankings.
- Collaborate with the content marketing team to provide recommendations for SEO content best practices.
- Monitor SEO performance metrics daily and communicate changes and trends to the SEO manager and marketing leadership to help ensure alignment with overall strategy and goals.
- Stay updated on Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and the evolving role of AI in SEO to ensure our strategies remain effective and competitive.
- Proficiency in tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog, and others to track and report on performance.
* This position may require working times outside of normal business hours to accommodate the needs of a distributed team and ensure deliverables are met across different time zones
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in an SEO role.
- Good understanding of SEO principles (on-page & off-page), Google ranking factors, and website optimization.
- Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Surfer SEO, Ubersuggest, Screaming Frog.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills. (nice to have)
- Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS to assist in providing technical recommendations for the engineering team.
- Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within our industry.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- A desire to learn and grow within the SEO industry.
