Coordinate with Project Managers, Supervisors, Logistics, and Purchasing to transfer and allocate tools across dry docks and projects, ensuring availability while minimizing unnecessary purchases,
Review and validate tool requests from project managers & supervisors before they are issued as requisitions in the system,
Keep track of tool allocations, including project location, usage, and condition,
Develop and enforce guidelines for proper tool usage and maintenance,
Identify cost-saving opportunities by optimizing tool procurement, usage and allocation,
Attend operational meetings, project requisition coordination meetings for tools (kick-offs, project summaries, etc.) and others,
Provide regular reports to management on tool inventory, usage patterns, and cost savings,
Propose and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve tool management systems.
Wymagania stanowiska
Proven experience in inventory management, logistics, or a related field,
Familiarity with tools used in maritime or construction projects is a strong plus.,
Experience in implementing and managing processes to minimize costs and improve efficiency,
Fluent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written, is a mandatory requirement,
Advanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools,
Analytical thinking: ability to analyze inventory data, identify inefficiencies and develop effective solutions,
Proactive approach: anticipates potential challenges and addresses them before they escalate,
Strong communication skills: effectively communicates with diverse stakeholders, including project managers, purchasing teams, and management,
Proficiency in procurement/inventory management systems or ERP tools,
Highly organized and detail-oriented,
