We are looking for a Senior R&D Engineer who will join the Team responsible for creation of new furniture product lines. The role gives a unique opportunity to create and implement innovative products that shape the future of the furniture industry.
About Product Department
Product is our most diverse team in terms of expertise from digital designers and software developers to wood technologists and industrial and interior designers. The department is divided into cross-functional product teams, combining expertise in product management, design and engineering to drive innovation and deliver integrated products. The department is responsible for delivering business results through the development and management of the product portfolio, supporting company-level activities, and coordinating the development of integrated physical and digital products, ensuring a consistent user experience.
In the role of a Senior R&D Engineer we expect that you will:
- Create high-quality, innovative furniture products that resonate with customers.
- Develop products that differentiate the company in the marketplace.
- Drive business growth through new products development.
- Translate design concepts into commercially viable solutions.
- Collaborate with design, production, and marketing teams to bring products to market.
Once you join the Team, you will be responsible for:
- Implementing and testing new product solutions, ensuring quality and functionality.
- Evaluating technical solutions and production technologies for new and existing products.
- Continuously developing technical and technological solutions to ensure product innovation.
- Developing and implementing technical solutions and production technologies to support new product lines.
- Sourcing new materials, components, and subcontractors to meet project needs.
- Preparing preliminary quotations and cost estimates in collaboration with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Coordinating prototype production and quality evaluation to ensure successful implementation of new solutions.
- Conducting regular business travel using company vehicles.

Job requirements:
- Knowledge of product development from design to final product
- Experience in the furniture industry (e.g. in production)
- Familiarity with furniture construction techniques and fittings
- Familiarity with technologies such as aluminum, injection/extrusion, light alloys, casting, plastic injection, machining, and sheet metal bending
- Experience in calculations of static furniture structures and strong joints
- Proficiency in 3D design programs (SolidWorks, Rhino)
- Ability to create production documentation and technical drawings
- Previous experience working with cross-functional teams to translate design concepts into products (cooperation with design is essential)
- Knowledge of industry trends, materials, and technologies
- Driving license (cat. B)
- University degree (Wood Technology, Architecture, Industrial Design, Material Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc.)
- Fluent Polish and good command of English
- Working from our Warsaw office at least 3 days a week
