As a Senior Financial Controller, you will play an important role in supporting the organization’s financial planning and performance monitoring. You’ll independently prepare financial reports and analysis, lead budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensure compliance with internal financial controls (SOX). You will collaborate closely with the Accounting, Payroll, and HQ finance teams (London), while also supporting management with data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Leading the budgeting, forecasting, and business planning processes in collaboration with department heads.
- Conducting in-depth variance analyses (budget vs. actuals) and identifying financial trends and insights.
- Ensuring implementation and execution of internal controls (SOX compliance).
- Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and management reviews.
- Supporting Controlling & SOX Manager with financial modeling, scenario analysis, and continuous improvement of controlling tools and processes.
- Managing a two-person team of junior controllers.
- Acting as a key finance partner to business functions by providing insights and guidance on cost control and resource allocation.
- Collaborating with Accounting, Payroll, and HQ finance teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Higher education in finance, economics, accounting, or a related field.

Minimum 4 years of professional experience in financial controlling, reporting, auditing, or data analytics.
- Familiarity with reporting in accordance with IFRS 15 and IFRS 16 is a strong plus.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in team management.

Strong command of Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas); familiarity with Power BI or Power Pivot is a plus.

Solid understanding of financial processes, controls, and reporting standards.
- High attention to detail and a strong habit of data verification.
- Hands-on experience withERP systems; knowledge of Comarch Optima is an advantage.
- Very good spoken and written English (min. B2 level), enabling clear communication with HQ and international teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a business mindset.
- Proactive, independent working style with the ability to take ownership of projects.
- Available to start in the coming months is a plus.
- Native-level proficiency in Polish is required.
