Data Analyst (she/he/they)
At Żabka International, we design, build and maintain modern data, reporting & analytics ecosystem for our companies operating outside of Poland.
We’re looking for a Data Analyst who’s passionate about transforming data into actions — someone ready to influence decisions at the highest level and drive measurable business impact in our international markets.
What will you do?
Data, reporting & analytics
Partner with top-level (including C-suite) stakeholders to deliver strategic analytics that support efficient, data-driven decisions for our emerging markets.
Design, develop, and maintain impactful Power BI reports and dashboards across key areas of business operations, like sales, operations, logistics, commerce, finance, and marketing.
Collaborate with SAP/D365 and Data Governance teams to ensure availability of raw data in our data warehouse systems, as well as build analytical layers on top of such raw data.
Community
Train local teams on the effective use of the existing reports and state-of-the-art analytical tools to help them foster a data-driven culture, inspired by Żabka’s experiences.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand and optimize business processes from a data and analytics perspective.
What do you need to be successful in this role?
Key requirements
3+ years of experience in report and dashboard development with Power BI (both front-end visualization and data modeling).
2+ years of hands-on experience working with large databases, including SQL query performance monitoring and optimization. Strong knowledge of modern SQL and ability to work across multiple database systems (e.g. SQL Server, Google Big Query, IBM DB2, Oracle, Snowflake, etc.).
Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of strategic and operational KPIs, drivers and financial metrics.
Very good communication and presentation skills, including the ability to present analytical findings to non-technical audiences, including senior management. Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights.
Fluency in English (you will use it on a daily basis).
Nice to have
Experience with Snowflake and Microsoft cloud-based data solutions (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Microsoft Fabric, and others).
Experience in working with raw data from SAP, Dynamics 365 or other ERP systems.
Hands-on experience with Python for analytics or machine learning (pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, and/or seaborn), including working with virtual environments and version control (git).
Track record of identifying and implementing data-driven process improvements.
Experience in fast-paced, international, or data-driven environments, such as consulting, technology, or finance.
Why join us?
Hybrid work model in Żabka’s headquarters in Poznań city center. Occasional few-day business trips abroad.
A rich package of benefits, employee perks, and development opportunities.
Real influence: your analyses and insights will directly shape strategic decisions in our international operations.
Employee support program – free and anonymous access to legal, financial, and psychological advice.
Dynamic, innovative environment: work with cutting-edge tools, talented people, and a company that values data as a business driver.
Recruitment process
Our recruitment process is split into two stages:
First interview: Analytical and abstract thinking. Technical knowledge.
Second interview: Business acumen & presentation skills.
Interested? We're looking forward to receiving your application!
