We are looking for an ASO Expert responsible for the strategy and optimization of app visibility in the App Store and Google Play. This is a key role within the Growth team – focused on maximizing organic installs through advanced ASO (App Store Optimization) initiatives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in ASO: 5+ years of hands-on experience with ASO for mobile apps, ideally in fintech, mobile services, or gaming.
- Strong analytical mindset: Ability to analyse performance data, extract actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions that impact app visibility and growth.
- Familiarity with ASO tools and platforms: Solid working knowledge of ASO platforms (e.g. AppTweak, Sensor Tower, MobileAction), as well as analytics and attribution tools.
- Understanding of store algorithms and ranking mechanics: Good grasp of how search and browse algorithms work in the App Store and Google Play, and how to influence them through metadata and creative assets.
- Experience with A/B testing and CRO: Practical knowledge of running A/B experiments for store assets and interpreting their impact on conversion rates.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ASO strategies and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluency in Polish and English: Professional proficiency in written and spoken Polish and English. Additional languages are a plus, especially in multilingual markets.
- Passion for mobile growth: Genuine interest in mobile apps and/or games, user acquisition, and continuous experimentation to drive growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ASO strategies: Design and execute comprehensive App Store Optimization strategies to increase visibility and drive organic installs across the App Store and Google Play.
- Conduct keyword research and metadata optimization: Perform in-depth keyword analysis and continuously optimize titles, subtitles, descriptions, and tags to improve app discoverability.
- Run A/B tests on creatives and metadata: Plan and execute A/B tests for icons, screenshots, videos, and copy to enhance conversion rates from store impressions to downloads.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics: Track, report, and interpret KPIs such as install volume, conversion rate, and keyword rankings to iterate and improve ASO performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with product, growth, design, localization, and engineering teams to align ASO efforts with broader product and marketing goals.
- Conduct competitor and market analysis: Stay informed about trends in the app ecosystem, evaluate competitors' strategies, and identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Manage localisation for global markets: Coordinate localization and cultural adaptation of store listings to maximise relevance and performance across regions.
- Utilise ASO and analytics tools: Leverage platforms such as AppTweak, MobileAction or similar tools for insight gathering and optimisation.
