P2P Analyst (Business Continuity Payments)

As a P2P Analyst (Business Continuity Payments), you will be working in the Business Services (BS) organization, in the largest center located in Krakow.

Reporting to P2P Team Lead (Business Continuity Payments), you will need to be familiar with the process of BCP, e.g. be able to differentiate urgent requests from the routine requests coming via SNOW and ensure the right process is applied to fulfil the requests with the right diligence and control especially when using the manual payment process.

Your responsibilities

• Being hands on with the Business Continuity Payments (BCP) process and the different ways of how to address the BCP payments (avoid when possible manual payments)
• Having good understanding to perform and ensure proper adherence of the below: the payment process and what is required for manual payments, payment errors and messages from banks; required supporting documents needed in the BCP and ensure the appropriate documents and approval are in place; the AP E2E process to perform a root cause review of what has been the reason for the BCP payment and identifying the right process changes to avoid such issues in the future; the right way to use ServiceNow for monitoring and actioning tickets within the given SLA
• Ensuring needed focus on quality & timely actions to evolve as a reliable partner to Divisions.
• Keeping refreshed with trainings on soft skills (e.g. sensitivity, empathy to requestors (internal & external) considering complexity
• Being able to receive & action on feedback from Divisions & Vendors

Your background

• 2 to 3 years of operational P2P experience, in the area of payments and/or invoice processing and at least one year in handling manual/ urgent payments
• Graduate degree in Finance, Business, Economics or equivalent work experience
• A good knowledge of the end to end P2P Process, including bank payment, SAP & Workflow tools
• Knowledge in technological platforms such as SAP, Readsoft, Basware, etc.
• Proficient in English language
• Good communication skills
• Stress resistance – as BCP requests cannot be planned or delayed and the negative impact is usually costly
• Strong control mindset as especially for manual payments
