About the employer:
Our client is an international production company from the automotive industry.
Responsibilities:
- assessment and selection of suppliers and price and terms negotiations with suppliers for services and supplies of materials,
- management of packaging including transportation of returnable packaging,
- ensure the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) and manage and control inventory levels and movements,
- ensure the material scheduling strategy regarding to production requirements,
- input and hold responsibility for Material Planning budgets,
- control of designated KPI levels in Logistics Department,
- analysis and update of procedures applicable in Logistics Department,
- tracking and control of logistics costs as well analysis of potential savings in the Logistics Department,
- responsible for shipping process including truck loading and export of products,
- managing production orders in the QAD system,
- responsible for production planning,
- management of sequencing warehouse,
- cooperation with the customer and monitoring the level of customer satisfaction,
- cooperation with other team members and the head of logistics.
Requirements:
- engineer’s degree or master’s degree (logistics, economics or related),
- experience working in similar position in a production company (preferably automotive industry)
- technical background with demonstrated skills in MRP, ERP systems,
- knowledge of purchasing process as well as all production processes in a company,
- knowledge of material and warehouse management issues,
- knowledge of tools for managing the purchasing, sales and supply chain,
- advanced knowledge of English
- experience of working in a multi-site environment,
- knowledge of MS Office package,
- good communication skills,
- analytical skills.
