Medical Devices Support Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for medical devices to customers remotely.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for customer issues and escalations.
• Conducting product trainings and workshops for healthcare professionals and sales teams.
• Reviewing and analyzing product specifications, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with the R&D team to identify and address technical issues and product improvements.
• Participating in customer visits and trade shows to showcase and demonstrate medical devices.
• Assisting with the testing and validation of new medical device prototypes and software updates.
• Monitoring and evaluating customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Providing input and support for the development of user manuals, technical guides, and other product documentation.
• Keeping up to date with industry regulations and standards related to medical devices and healthcare technology.
• Conducting research and staying informed about competitor products and market trends.

Requirements:

• fluency in the English and German languages is an obligatory criterion (C1 level),
• strong PC skills, encompassing mastery of the Microsoft Office suite,
• a Bachelor’s / Master's degree in Electronics/ Mechanical/ Computers/ Biomedical Engineering is an obligatory recquirement,
• familiarity with Salesforce, ServiceMax, PC operations, software, LIS, networking, and database management is highly valued,
• proficiency in communication and customer service, including technical writing, and the ability to navigate complex technical discussions over the phone,
• relevant hands-on experience in servicing and repairing medical devices, as well as electronic and electro-mechanical devices is highly valued.
