The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.
For our Securities Services business line which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation center in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas’ operational scope in Poland.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up new funds in the systems following the tools and documentation
- Analyzing fund application form for fund on boarding and reviewing all registration activities in accordance with Departmental procedures and deadlines.
- Cooperating closely with internal Stakeholders to assist with the preparation, due diligence and approval of the electronic Know Your Client records
- Conducting complex open source intelligence research and case investigations process on different internal and external sources
- Ensuring work adheres to defined engagement policies and procedures in line with anti-money laundering/Know your customer requirements
- Responding to any query from internal or external source in relation to the activity within SLA
- Reviewing new account opening in the internal BNP platforms and initiating/document call-backs required on qualifying trading and static data updates
- Liaising with Legal, dealing team or internal departments as necessary.
- Communicating effectively and efficiently with relevant internal and external parties to obtain KYC documents
Requirements:
- Have a bachelor’s degree at a minimum
- Have 1-2 years of experience in banking, financial services in the area of operations
- Are fluent in English
- Have good problem resolution, analytical and administrative skills
- Have good IT skills, in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
- Are client focused, open-minded and professional
- Have ability to perform effectively to strict deadlines and maintain an organized approach to ongoing review dates
