As a Junior IT Business Analyst, you will be the one of the main intermediaries between IT teams on the one hand, and Client Delivery (Operations/ Project teams) and Client Lines (Product, RM) on the other hand. You will be in charge of providing solution expertise for the benefit of starting or existing projects and enhancements within our Fund Accounting IT team.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze with a critical and constructive point of view the requirements formulated by the Business line
- Translate the business requirements into functional specifications (elements of system design)
- Design and execute the test scenarios and test scripts
- Assist users in performing their acceptance tests
- Assist the experts in problem solving, investigate operational issues and their root causes, and in identifying available options
- Assist the experts in defining and justifying improvements to existing solutions or new solutions design within the context of a unique platform and a multi-jurisdiction usage
- Apply the project life cycle group standards and communicate effective and informative progress statements in terms of outstanding milestones, current status, resource requirements, issues, risks and dependencies
- Share knowledge about his/her area of expertise within the team
- Properly document each step of the Business Analysis and ensure relevant documentation is available for the end user and for IT Support function
Requirements:
- Experience in Fund Accounting domain
- Knowledge of project management methodology
- Knowledge of process analysis and design
- Knowledge of testing methodology
- Fluent English
- Very good knowledge of the Fund Administration or the Position Keeping activities (Operations in areas like Transactions, OTC, Corporate Actions, Accounting, Reporting…) will be considered as a strong asset
- First experience as a Business Analyst in financial services will be considered as a strong asset
- Experience of MultiFonds (MFGA) platform will be considered as a strong asset
- Technical: SQL will be considered as an asset
