Tax Specialist - Accounting

The Warsaw office was established in 2008 and comprises two business lines: a dynamically growing International Operations Centre (SSC) providing asset and fund services for a number of locations across Europe and local custody & clearing business offering broker-dealers, global custodians and investment banks a full local clearing, settlement and custody solution in Poland.

For our Securities Services business line which is an exciting, dynamic and growing operation center in Warsaw we are looking for candidates who are willing to be a vital part of the expansion in BNP Paribas’ operational scope in Poland.

By joining our company you will become a member of Accounting and Taxes team, located within Finance Department, responsible for tax reporting.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly/annual WHT calculation and reporting
• Ensure that tax returns are filed in accordance with tax authorities requirements
• Collection of certificates of tax residency and beneficial owner declarations
• Analysis of Vendor transactions – WHT/VAT
• VAT sales calculation
• VAT – internal invoices preparation (import of services)
• internal tax and accounting projects support

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of Polish tax regulations
• Degree in Tax/Accounting/Finance
• Experience in tax is a strong asset
• Analytical skills
• Demonstrate strong Excel skills
• Very good English, min. B2 level
• Strong co-operation skills
• Well organized and accurate
