YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
As an Accountant, you will be actively involved in all daily accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include posting invoices and resolving vendor and customer queries. You will handle posting journal entries, including intercompany transactions, fx variances, employee expenses, and other related tasks. Additionally, you will manage bank reconciliations and prepare credit card reports. Maintaining strong internal and external relationships will also be a key part of your role.
Potential responsibilities will include:
• Supporting the Financial Director in managing financial operations and strategic planning.
• Assisting with various corporate administrative tasks, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
• Playing an important role in month-end closing activities, including performing detailed account reconciliations and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
• Handling ad hoc analyses and responding to queries, providing insightful data to support decision-making processes.
• Supporting the filing of VAT declarations and other tax reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Administering our timesheet system and coordinating data sharing with our payroll provider, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing.
ABOUT YOU
You are an articulate, ethical individual with a critical mindset, effective communication skills, and a keen interest in contributing to the Finance Team of a growing global organization. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, able to collaborate effectively, and to handle sensitive information with integrity and discretion. You possess excellent organizational skills, a passion for data-driven decision making, and a proactive approach to learning and improving the business.
YOU HAVE
• Master’s degree in Accounting or similar field.
• 3-5 years of professional experience in Polish accounting.
• Desire to pursue a career in accountancy or taxes.
• NetSuite accounting software experience is a plus.
• Fluency in English and Polish.
• Ability to legally work in Poland. CIC is unable to sponsor visas for this role at this time.
