Team/Role Overview:

The Compensation and Deferred Compensation Lead Analyst is a detailed oriented business analyst that will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions by using data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders and other partners to identify business challenges, gather and document requirements, and recommend improvements to the systems and processes. The Incumbent will be also responsible for addressing production issue and supporting the Compensation and Deferred Compensation groups.


What you'll do:

  • Applies an in-depth technical expertise in Compensation and Deferred Compensation principles, practices and procedures.
  • Manages and support several compensation and deferred compensation applications by addressing system issues, data quality and integrations with other applications.
  • Gather, document and validate business requirements and translates them into user stories, process flows and data models.
  • Create test cases and coordinates/perform user acceptance testing.
  • Work closely with business partners and technology to develop, design and implement new solutions or changes to existing applications.
  • Support project management activities including timelines, deliverables and stakeholder communications.
  • Partners with Payroll, Tax, Legal and Finance to ensure proper reporting of plan activities.
  • Ensures all processes are completed with accuracy and within required timeframes.
  • Identifies and implement process improvements.
  • Resolve escalated issues for partners and employees
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made.


What we'll need from you:

  • 6-10 years of experience
  • Experience with JIRA, SQL, Workday, Service NOW and reporting tools preferred
  • Experience with managing global applications with complex requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines while dealing with multiple priorities.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Developed diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others, in particular colleagues in other areas and occasional external customers.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred
