    Group Business Controller


    Do you have an excellent analytical mindset that you want to put to use in a large, international hearing healthcare group? Then we offer an opportunity to become Group Business Controller with responsibility for a group of local markets in our Hearing Care business area, helping us build solid financial insights and efficient finance processes while delivering on our global priorities and ambitions.


    As our new Group Business Controller in our Hearing Care business area, you will assume an important role in ensuring we have the financial insights to make sound decisions and run an efficient business and that we follow through on new initiatives, best practices and policies. 

     

    The role is anchored as part of our Group Business Finance team, which comprises around 20 people, but we are a dedicated Hearing Care Business Finance team of currently 3 people that work very closely with the Hearing Care organization. Our team as well as the broader Group Business Finance team is based in both Szczecin, Poland, and at the Group’s headquarters near Copenhagen, Denmark. This role will be based in Szczecin.

    What tasks are waiting for you?

    • Partnering with a group of assigned local markets to ensure transparent and insightful management reporting, performing controlling of sales, costs, NWC, CapEx etc., and ensure an efficient month-end process.
    • Supporting financial planning processes, including annual budgeting, forecasting, 3-year planning, etc. 
    • Participating in business review meetings for assigned markets and helping market managers challenge local management teams and identify risks and opportunities.
    • Being the primary point of contact and close sparring partner for local finance managers to help them navigate our Group priorities and effectively implement best practices and harmonised processes.
    • Helping drive and coordinate initiatives related to operations, e.g., within supply chain and procurement, and to IT systems, and generally ensuring alignment with other global functions (ComEx, M&A, Marketing, etc.).
    • Ad hoc financial analyses and presentations.


    Apply today if you have:

    • a Master’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field;
    • 2-4 years of experience within finance, e.g., business partnering, financial controlling or similar;
    • analytical mindset and a strong accounting and financial toolbox combined with interest and ability to go beyond numbers to understand underlying drivers of business performance;
    • thriving with both tasks that carry high complexity and more routine-based tasks around month-end closing, budget and forecasting processes, etc;
    • a positive mindset combined with a great amount of engagement, can-do-attitude and team spirit.
    • experience in working with and extracting data from ERP and consolidation systems (ideally, SAP BPC);
    • fluency in both verbal and written English is required to be succesful in our international environment;
    • possibility to travel (around 20-25 days per year).
