Our client is a global mobile games startup based in TLV, expanding to Warsaw. It has one of the fastest growth rates in the market and millions of players worldwide. Their team is building a unique, innovative tournament platform used by numerous popular games.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in managing and leading design teams
• 4+ years of hands-on experience as a illustrator/concept artist (in casual games)
• Track record of at least 3 mobile games as an Art Director or team lead
• Excellent knowledge of Photoshop & Illustrator
• Excellent organizational and communication skills combined with the ability to work in a dynamic environment within tight schedules
• Pixel-perfect with attention to the smallest of details
• A creative team player with the ability to adapt to and innovate new styles and techniques showing a deep understanding of art disciplines and their workflow
• Staying updated on the latest trends within the design of the mobile market

Nice to have:

• Experience in working with both in-house and outsourcing/external art teams
• Experience with animation and UI/UX design
• Experience with different genres of mobiles games

Responsibilities:

• Manage, lead and guide talented illustrators, animators and UI/UX designers to ensure quality, consistency and compliance of your team
• Create a playful, intuitive and cohesive look and feel, as well as a smooth overall mobile game user experience
• Oversee and review your team’s design quality and art content production in collaboration with the product owner
• Work closely with the Head of the art department and collaborate with designers and other team members to implement creative directions
• Insure the communication flow between your team and the various departments of our Studio
• Support the vision of the organization to help fulfill short and long term goals
• Set up the best practices and standards for production based on industry benchmarks and share your expertise with your team members
