Job overview
Repairs and tests mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and / or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides the full range of Repair Technician advice and support for all types of company equipment and products.
- Performs advanced-level repair and maintenance on all products.
- Provides technical feedback on equipment, systems and processes to improve overall service delivery.
- Uses advanced tools and technical knowledge to resolve complex and / or previously unknown problems.
- Identifies and resolves systemic issues within the team.
- Handles issues escalated from Repair Technician team members.
- Proactively supports the needs of other team members, providing technical assistance and expertise.
- Serves as a key liaison with Supply Chain, Technology Solutions and other teams / stakeholders, ensuring ongoing collaboration and communication.
- Contributes to improved repair services metrics reporting and documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications
- Education or equivalent work experience required.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
