Design Engineering Standardization Expert
Location: Katowice
Responsibilities:
- Support in the creation of company standards (e.g. also BCS)
- Derivation of further templates/tools to increase profitability (design support)
- Incorporation of SC/CC features in the drawings
- Archiving the results in the departments drive/PDM
- The archiving of design documentation in the company data environment
- Participation in training measures (e.g. CAD, PDM system, methodology, ECO, form and position tolerances)
- The definition of development scopes (CAD data, 2D drawings, ECOs, parts lists, ...) in the assigned development projects
Requirements:
- Mechanical engineering technician, technical draftsman or comparable qualification
- Vocational training in mechanical engineering or automotive engineering
- First work experience in the automotive environment
- Good knowledge of standards / standard parts
- Analytical thinking
- At least 2 years’ experience with Catia V5 3D/2D
- Handling PLM systems
- Advanced knowledge of Excel
- Qualification certificates Catia V5
- Meticulous and conscientious working method
- The ability and patience to work your way through data lists and still be able to keep an overview
- Proficient English language skills (German would be an asset)
