PLC Programmer

🌍 Location: Katowice

💡 Requirements:

• Completed technical degree:​ Mechatronics, Automatic Control, or Robotics (ideally with a specialization in software engineering or industrialization)
• At least 2 years of practical experience with industrial controllers (PLC)
• Experience with Siemens S7 controllers
• Knowledge of industrial standards
• Experience with industrial communication protocols (Profi Net)
• Experience with communication with OPC server
• Fluency in English
• Knowledge of German and/or Spanish would be an asset​
• Structured way of working and thinking
• Experience working within international teams
• Strong interpersonal skills

✅ Responsibilities:

• Interdisciplinary cooperation with development, testing, and production departments at our worldwide locations
• Development of PLC software in all global shop-floor machines​
• Creating communication standards for PLC-MES and PLC-PLM connection
• Creating PLC programming standards for the whole shop-floor business in the company worldwide
• Support interface teams in PLC-related topics
• Commissioning of PLC programs worldwide
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting of PLC programs
• Help with onsite visits for the global MES implementation
