Now, they are looking for a Financial Director based in Kraków, Poland whose primary duty will be to oversee and direct the company's financial operations while reporting directly to the COO and CEO.

What you will do:

Strategic Projects – working on the Business Roadmap

• Interpret, simplify, and prioritize relevant data/insights to add items to the business roadmap
• Ensure the performance optimisations of teams within the finance business unit
• Assist the leadership team in determining and prioritizing business strategies
• Establish a solid international procurement process while being mindful of TPRM and multicultural contexts
• Pioneer the set-up of an internal shared services center for our finance operations
• Oversee complex, often cross-functional, strategic projects from development through to successful execution
• Collaborate with people across business units to drive impact and help unblock complex challenges
• Actively participate in growth and investment opportunities

Finance

• Management of finance and accounting team members based in India
• Structure and document processes to best leverage a distributed finance function between India, UK and Polish offices
• Oversee the preparation of company financial forecasts and budgets
• Provide timely, relevant, and transparent overall financial information and financial perspective in relation to the overall strategic direction of the business.
• Provide recommendations to enhance financial performance and business opportunities.

What you need:

• experience working in a similar environment with international stakeholders
• strong experience leveraging distributed teams to deliver similar projects
• strategic and creative thinking, with the ability to come up with innovative solutions and break down complex problems into component parts
• data-driven and confident with numbers — large data sets and Excel sheets don’t scare you rather, they help you make informed decisions!
• ability to manage complex projects with many stakeholders and dependencies
• incredible communication skills, clarity, timeliness, and follow-through
• strong orientation to team culture
• fluent English knowledge
