This team is based in India, Argentina & Philippines and have global support base, supporting the Global Compliance & Reporting (GCR) sub-service line and within the Tax vertical in EY. This is a centralized team of tool experts and coordinators who strive to provide consistent & quality service through extensive growth focus. 

The opportunity

This position will be primarily responsible for delivering the reporting capabilities in context with BAU reports, strategic reporting, ad hoc analysis, technical / complex requests, management reporting. As part of the reporting scope, the analyst will also proactively develop and manage dashboards to facilitate consistent sharing of data and reports with the stakeholders. The role will further entail data engineering and visualization aspects to enable the translation of data into information and insight, which can be used to make business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Work both as a good team player and an individual contributor throughout design, development and delivery phases and stay with the focus of quality deliverable.
• Working with the stakeholders directly to understand the requirement and provide inputs to build the optimum solutions
• Configure and create new reporting and analysis to meet operational and management demands 
• Deep subject matter expertise in data engineering, visualization, and related functional domains to generate and support insights and analysis.
• Develop new capabilities for our stakeholders in the form of Visualization dashboards in tools like PowerBI (Preferred)
• Seek ways to automate standard reporting to aid and develop the reporting landscape.

Skills and attributes for success

• Bachelor's or master’s degree, in any discipline with 4-6 years industry experience
• Proven good experience on any of the reporting tools - Power BI(Preferred), Tableau etc.
• Strong communication, presentation and team building skills and experience in producing high quality reports, papers, and presentations.
• Excellent in analytical thinking for translating data into informative visuals and reports.
• Able to implement row level security on data and have an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
• Expertise in using advance level calculations on the data set.
• Knowledge in understanding the requirement for using data extract file
• Able to connect and configure Gateways and able to implement roles/permission 
• Ability to work effectively in a team (team player) and takes ownership and responsibility of own and the team's work
• Be flexible and willing to adjust responsibilities to align with developing business needs.
• Significant ability to cope with ambiguity; to drive change and performance outcomes in a complex and agile environment.
• Experience in design & build dashboard automation processes as well as organize analysis findings into logical presentations 

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Good understanding of Data Management concepts and Data Strategy 
• Knowledge about data concepts such as Data Warehouses, Data Marts, data extraction and preparation processes and Data Modelling
• Understanding of the importance of Data governance and Data security
• fluent Spanish language (nice to have)
