About role

Your goal is to become a leader for your team, establish and maintain relationships, support their growth inside the organization, and ensure we leverage their full potential across various projects and initiatives.

You will be a leader of other leaders, our Guardians, who take direct care of our engineers within the company.

The role works in very close cooperation with the Contract Owners, CTO, and Architects Team, whose job is to shape the talent structure of the team and co-manage technical development.

The Delivery Team Lead role is to be later extended with the role of a Project Lead so that you can support our team with your Project Management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Mentor-style leader: helping people grow.
• Boosting self-management skills of team members.
• Regular 1:1 meetings with individuals regularly.
• Understanding the individual needs of engineers.
• Supporting internal knowledge sharing.
• Ensuring that work happens according to schedule & plan
• Ensuring the utilization and billability levels of your team
• Taking care of work-life balance by time tracking, monitoring vacation, recognizing burnout symptoms, and reacting accordingly.
• Work closely with People & Culture Team: being involved in onboarding and offboarding processes, performance reviews, appraisal, and salary review processes.
• Reacting to low employee satisfaction signals.
• Supporting people’s aspirations and their development goals, identifying people’s skills, and helping in efficient project assignments.
• Leading a team of around 30 engineers, analysts and scientists

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience working in IT, Software Development, and Consulting projects from the Vendor side.
• Five years experience in Project Management / Scrum Master / Team Lead or Delivery Lead.
• Experience in HR processes - onboarding, offboarding, performance review.
• Experience in finding and implementing optimization in ongoing processes.
• Knowledge of current trends in Big Data technologies.
• Fluent English (C1 min.)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in IT, Software Development, Consulting projects from the Vendor side, and acting in a key role in a team - tech lead, delivery lead, project manager.
• Knowledge of talent management activities.
• Experience in building self-managed teams and supporting them with proper processes.

Non-technical skills

• Ability to work in an agile, fast-changing startup-like environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in mentors like programs (as mentor or mentee).
