Currently, as a recruitment agency, we are conducting the recruitment process for a global financial and human resources service center of a company from the home furnishings industry. Since 2011, they have been serving 27 countries and are constantly growing. Their center in Poznań employs almost 500 people.


Due to the planned transit of payroll processes from other countries, we are looking for a person who, together with the newly recruited team (ultimately approx. 10 people), will adapt the procedures to Polish conditions. Then, will be responsible for payroll processes for selected countries.



Payroll Team Leader with English



Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and qualitative delivery of payroll services in accordance with global procedures and local legal requirements,
  • Supporting all staff in payroll related matters,
  • Overseeing monthly payroll and year-end activities,
  • Assisting in problem solving and resolving first level escalations independently,
  • Monitoring and coordinating the status of outstanding issues,
  • Recruiting new staff,
  • Play an active role in coaching and developing the knowledge, skills and competencies of payroll staff,
  • Being responsible for coordinating training, maintaining a high level of motivation and other team leadership activities.


Requirements:

  • Min. 3 years of experience working in the payroll area,
  • Experience in managing or coordinating the work of people (as Team Leader or, for example, Senior),
  • English language skills of min. B2/C1, comfortable in using it,
  • Experience of transitions/projects/implementations of improvements, including through the introduction of a new system,
  • Ability to make quick decisions, motivate and delegate tasks,
  • Striving to learn new things, taking the initiative and open to challenges.
