Payroll Manager


Purpose of the position

Ensure efficient execution of HR and payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws and high quality service to employees of NewCold companies in Poland.


Responsibilities:

  • maintaining and updating employee personnel records in cooperation with an external HR and payroll service provider.
  • Preparation of employment contracts, annexes and other documents related to employment.
  • Ensuring compliance of documentation with applicable labor laws.
  • monitoring employee attendance, recording working hours, vacations and other forms of absences.
  • Responsibility for ensuring compliance with legal regulations and timely accounting for all expenses related to business travel.
  • Coordinate the process of secondment of foreign employees, including preparation of travel documents and formalities / A1/ EHIC/.
  • preparation of working time reports and other indicators related to working time management.
  • Coordinating the process of calculating payroll, time and attendance, bonuses and other employee benefits in cooperation with the external provider of personnel and payroll services in accordance with labor laws and deadlines adopted by the Employer.
  • Supervise external payroll service providers to ensure timely and accurate execution of payroll processes.
  • Tracking the progress of the payroll process and identifying any problems or delays in the process, responding to irregularities.
  • Supporting employees in HR and payroll services by providing information and support to employees on matters related to personnel records, salaries, working hours, etc.
  • Participate in projects related to the development and implementation of new HR and payroll solutions.
  • ensuring compliance of processes with labour and social security laws and internal regulations of the organization.
  • Implementing changes in HR and payroll procedures in accordance with new regulations.- preparation of reports in the area of human resources and payroll.


Requirements:

  • University degree in human resources, finance or related field.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and/or working with payroll outsourcing.
  • Knowledge of labour and tax laws related to payroll.
  • Knowledge of the law on accounting for business travel and foreign secondments.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent work organization and ability to work in a high-paced environment.
  • Communication and collaboration skills with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage time and priorities.
  • Ability to operate information systems and MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Analytical, organizational and communication skills.
  • Meticulousness, accuracy and ability to work in a team.
