We work with start-ups all over Europe, but our team of 14 incredible individuals is based in Kraków. We believe that the best teams come from diverse backgrounds and experiences. Right now we are expanding the team and are looking for a finance specialist in the area of controlling. As a Controlling Specialist you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing the financial performance of our portfolio companies and preparing the recommendations for management.

Your day to day activities will include:

• Collecting and verifying financial data provided by portfolio companies
• Investigating and clarifying possible deviations in data
• Performing analysis of portfolio companies’ financials
• Preparing monthly update reports of portfolio companies’ performance
• Preparing regular and ad-hoc reports for management and investors
• Verifying and reviewing financial statements
• Supporting audit process
• Preparing other financial spreadsheets

• You have a university degree in finance, accounting or similar field
• You have minimum 3 years of experience in corporate finance, reporting or controlling.
• You have very good analytical skills and MS Excel skills
• You are reliable and take ownership of the tasks you are assigned.
• You are a quick learner
• You demonstrate initiative in implementing changes and ability to look critically at data & processes
• You have good communication skills - we are a small team so all the work is very exposed and important and we can not allow any miscommunication
• You have good oral and written English skills - it doesn’t have to be fluent, but on the level to allow you to work with data in English and explain your analysis and findings in English
• Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards (Polish or international) will be an asset
