🚀 Your tasks:

• You take over the technical and content-related responsibility for our demand planning and raise it to a new, strategic level in terms of meaningful forecasting
• You analyze historical sales data and market trends to create accurate demand forecasts and optimize our forecasting models in the process
• In your role, you will work closely with sales, marketing, and production teams to gather relevant information for demand planning and current demand forecasts
• You optimize the use of forecasting tools/methods and software to create demand plans and improve the forecasting process within the sales teams
• You are responsible for the continuous improvement of forecast accuracy through data analysis and adaptation of forecast models
• You will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating stock levels and ensuring that they are in line with sales forecasts and production capacities.
• You will be responsible for preparing and submitting regular reports to management and will evaluate the potential and benefits of integrated business planning (IBP) with Controlling

🎯 Expectations:

• You have a degree in economics, commercial training, or a comparable qualification
• You have many years of professional experience in demand planning, ideally in the food or animal feed industry
• You have already taken demand planning in other organizations to a new level in terms of strategy, concept and content
• You have analytical and logical thinking skills as well as a strong affinity for numbers
• You are a team player & excellent communication, problem-solving, and social skills are a matter of course for you
• You have a pronounced proactive way of thinking and acting, paired with a high market and customer orientation
