JOB DESCRIPTION:

• The Supplier Quality Developer Series is assigned to suppliers (via SAP Vendor master data) and responsible to ensure stable quality of serial parts supply to KOSTAL. He is responsible to ensure stable quality performance of the assigned suppliers during serial parts supply.
• He conducts the following quality activities related to the assigned suppliers:
• supplier audits
• monitor supplier performance
• drive supplier actions for quality improvements
• supporting problem solving in complex cases (escalation from incoming inspection)
• supplier Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
• In cases of quality deviations, he is authorized to block suppliers in consultation with the Purchasing Supplier Owner according to the KOSTAL standard process descriptions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Higher technical education: Mechanical Engineer with knowledge in Plastic Technology or certified Plastic Injection Moulding Technician/Alternative: Electronic Engineer with main knowledge in PCB assembly production
• 5+ years related experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Production or Production Planning or Quality Assurance/Planning in production of plastic parts. Automotive industry will be an advantage
• Knowledge of the main Quality standards and tools up to date:
• Maturity Level assurance, Product Approval (VDA2, AIAG, VDA16)
• Audit VDA6.3 (IATF 16949)
• Problem solving (8D, 5Why, 5W’s,…)
• Advanced knowledge of technology (injection molding, painting / chroming of plastic parts, metal stamping, other automotive related);
• Open, constructive, persuasive personality
• Basic commecial-technical negotiations skills
• Basic knowledge of the principles of technical drawing and ability to read technical documentation;
• Competence in working in interdisciplinary and international teams. Team player.
• Results-oriented, personal leadership and ownership for assigned tasks;
• Analytical and creative mindset to generate opportunities for continuous proactive improvement of supplier’s Quality Management System and Industrial standards
• Flexibility. Willingness to work in a dynamic and multitask environment.
• English – B2, Polish – native or fluent, Ukrainian will be an advantage
• MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP will be an advantage

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

• work contract - full time
• 3 months on boarding with experienced colleague supervision KOSTAL Global Purchasing Academy, where applicable
• participation in the opening of a plant in Poland - GreenFiled project
• Attendance in the office required 1-2 times a month.
