Financial Analyst - Indirect Tax (KPMG Delivery Network)
Job title description
- Preparation of VAT returns and other indirect tax related reports for multinational clients
- on a country specific guidance
- VAT returns & VAT accounts reconciliations and clean-ups for selected EMEA countries
- Collaborate with different parties (Accounts Payable & Receivable, Indirect Tax) to
- ensure VAT entries are accurate and correct in GL
- Ensure VAT compliance processes are up to date in accordance with country regulation
- Liaison with foreign tax authorities
- Responding to requests from clients and pro-actively anticipating our clients’ needs
- Identifying the opportunities for process and technology improvements
- Support with internal (as part of the group audit) and external VAT audits
- You will report to the team leader and work with him/her as well as the experienced team colleagues
Requirements
- Master or Bachelor degree (preferred: economics, finance and accounting),
- Some professional experience in Finance or Accounting (working in Shared Service
- environment or Big4 would be an asset)
- Basic knowledge of VAT principles (especially in EU)
- Some knowledge of accounting and auditing principles
- Fluent in English
- Familiar with SAP system as well as excellent Excel skills
- Curiosity and desire to solve problems and report on conclusions/outcomes
- Strong multitasking and organizational skills
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-border teams
- Strong commitment to meet tight deadlines
- Willingness to develop new skills and take initiative
