what You'll do:


As our new Senior Business Development Specialist, your focus will be on:


  • building and managing your own predictable funnel of new business opportunities (lead generation) using account-based selling,
  • creating awareness of Merixstudio among companies belonging to our ICP, partners, and industry communities.


🌍 The key area of responsibility is to proactively look for sales opportunities around the globe.


You don’t have to close deals, it’s the domain of another team.


Finding, and nurturing prospects is essential. We work with mid-size enterprises, product-led companies, startups, and scaleups. Mainly from DACH, UK, Nordics and US.


✉️ You will take care of a multichannel (LI/mail/call) ABS using a modern tool stack. Importantly, you can expect influence and a certain degree of freedom regarding ideas, campaigns, communication style, and the final execution.

👨‍💼 Moreover, you’re welcome to help us build and manage relationships with key prospects & partners.

who You are (requirements):


  • you have a track record of successful new business activities (generating leads through ABS, outreach / networking, ideally also events), 🗣
  • you’ve mastered prospecting,
  • English language is your friend, 🗽
  • you enjoy writing good copy, experimenting, and brainstorming outreach ideas,
  • proactiveness and creativity are in your nature, 🪄
  • No, thanks isn’t the end of the world for you,
  • you are well-organized and like to get things done, ⏰
  • building and maintaining relationships with other people is part of your DNA,
  • you know how to do research to find a way to reach people you want to talk to, 👨🏼‍💻
  • you follow up with the newest trends regarding software development, new technologies, and new media,
  • you consider CRM (and other sales/communication tools) as a helping hand, rather than a red tape. 📊


what we'd like to see:


  • experience in B2B business development and ABS (3+ years)
  • experience in B2B (ideally software development services) sales
  • experience in networking at events, you’ve built relationships in the IT community
