Procurement Operations Senior Business Analyst, is responsible for supporting the Strategy development, enhancement, deployment and the effectiveness of the Supplier Risk Procurement Program, inclusive of strategy development and determining processes, technologies, reporting, etc. necessary for implementation. The scope of duties will also include planning, designing, developing and launching efficient business, financial and system solutions in support of core organizational functions and business processes in Procurement. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, diligent and hardworking quick learner with a passion for learning new Procurement & Supplier Risk systems and technologies.

The Procurement Operations 👉 Senior Business Analyst will interface with both internal stakeholders including Procurement, Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, Information Security, etc. as well as externally with peers, industry experts, suppliers, and SaaS providers.

💡 Job Description:

• Engage in Supplier Risk & Performance Management processes, tools within the overall category management process, to ensure effective incident management practices are in place and supplier data is available for quick assessment of impact which can give competitive advantage for Motorola Solutions during disruptions. Monitor global Risk, safety, and supplier disruptions to support and sometimes lead, incident management.
• Ensure there is a capable supply base risk management solution in place and optimized that meets the emerging needs. Overall management of key data elements associated with suppliers to ensure the integrity of the solution.
• Drive the execution of key Supplier surveys to create visibility into our supply chain, transparency to Business continuity, compliance to key regulations, etc. to aid in the overall evaluation of Supplier Risk.
• Document and diagram existing system and business Procurement processes
• Coordinate and perform use case tests, including end-user reviews, for modified and new systems
• Provide orientation and training to Procurement end users for new systems, enhancements and projects including writing documentation and training
• Provide support and research for escalation of application errors or questions working with developers, end-users and the service desk
• Investigating, analyzing, and reviewing systems as well as business needs and documentation
• Devising and planning analysis approach for large-scale projects
• Guiding others to produce detailed business models and assisting in the development of business cases
• Identifying new alternative and innovative approaches for improving business activities, and systems
• Supporting technical teams in data and integration requirements

✅ Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, finance or a related field
• Proven Procurement or Supplier Risk Systems analyst experience
• Prefer 2-3 years of overall business experience
• Prefer 1+ years of specific Supplier Risk or Procurement related work experience
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Experience implementing SaaS (software as a service) solutions - nice to have
