About the Role
A head of marketing is responsible for designing, coordinating and executing all marketing efforts to grow Omni’s community, business and brand perception.
Responsibilities & expected outcomes:
- Be the go-to owner for all the marketing, PR, communication and promotion activities
- Lead community engagement programs (Testnet campaign, ambassador program, Discord roles…) including managing external vendors supporting these programs, to grow Omni’s community and their engagement.
- dentify and source the highest leverage projects that we can partner with to amplify our messaging.
- Design & execute co-marketing campaigns with partner projects and Key Opinion Leaders, leading to amplification of Omni through 3rd party channels.
- Draft and carry out public-facing communications, including copywriting and content creation, with an implemented content calendar for all public-facing channels such as Twitter, Discord, Blog, AMAs etc.
- Constantly stay up to date on the latest news and marketing tactics in the crypto community so that we can leverage the best, most recent strategies.
- This person should proactively be following the latest recent projects that have grown their community substantially and have insights into how they have achieved this.
- Proactively experiment by designing metrics-driven tests to identify what types of content and communication drive the highest level of engagement. Some of the metrics we’re trying to optimize include Twitter/ Discord engagement, SEO positioning and testnet participation.
- Coordinate external amplification with PR teams, journalists, podcast hosts, newsletters etc. leading to Omni’s growing brand presence throughout media channels,
- Build and implement employer branding strategies, to help increase the number of quality applications to Omni.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in Marketing and/or Community Management, including 2+ years in Crypto marketing - obligatory.
- Bachelors's degree in marketing or related discipline (preferred).
- Strong knowledge and passion for blockchain technology/space.
- Track record of success in coordinating large-scale community programs.
- Strong understanding of differences in the community growth strategy for Web3 vs. Web2.
- Advanced knowledge of Discord, Twitter, and other community forums.
- Expertise in ambassador programs, localization, metrics/KPIs, reporting, workflow design, procedural optimization, and partnership management.
- Strong portfolio showcasing copywriting work.
