Location: Poland

Your mission: 

As our European Freight specialist, you’ll be the go-to person for the European organization for all matters freight related. You will report to the European Customer Solution Manager. Your main missions will be:

• Management of cost efficient, fast and reliable in- and outbound freight: mainly road (FTL, LTL, GRP, rolling materials,…), some sea, air and courier for all European Satellite sites.
• Main sites are in Germany and Poland. 4 other sites spread over Europe.
• Destinations: domestic, European and worldwide.
• Freight budget preparation and control
• Set-up and control of KPIs
• Key admin for our forwarding booking program
• Internal go-to person for all customs-related issues as well as checking and processing customs documents
• Efficient and accurate validation of freight invoices and liaising with the accounting department

Your skills:

• You can communicate very well in English, both orally and in writing. German and any other EU language is an asset
• You have at least 5 years of experience in this field
• You have very good knowledge in the areas of freight, forwarding and customs
• Experience scheduling efficient runs for a company owned truck is a plus
• You are a proactive and resourceful team player
• You have excellent negotiation skills
• You have very good knowledge of Excel
• You work well under time pressure
• You are a creative problem solver
