StartSmart CEE is a leading acceleration program in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The program focuses on supporting CEE-based, early-stage technology start-ups in developing and fine-tuning their business models. The program is affiliated with the globally recognized Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), providing a unique opportunity to work in an international environment with smart and passionate people.

Due to our dynamic growth, we are looking for a Marketing and Communication Specialist to attract and engage with targeted virtual communities and network users while managing communications for our start-up acceleration program and different initiatives. In this position, you will work directly on projects related to marketing, social media, performance, and communication. Since our main activity focuses on supporting corporate partners and technology startups, you will have a unique chance to meet many passionate entrepreneurs from Poland and the CEE region, work with our corporate partners, and engage with international investors. We are eager to hear your creative ideas on how to improve our acceleration program and marketing efforts.

Job Profile: Marketing and Communication Specialist

Your Future Duties:

• Building brand awareness for the top acceleration program in the CEE market.
• Co-creating the marketing strategy.
• Creating content for our blog, newsletter, and social media channels.
• Managing communication and moderating social media channels.
• Implementing strategic and ongoing cooperation with our corporate partners (Polish and international market leaders) in marketing & communication.
• Planning and executing marketing campaigns using organic and paid channels.
• Analyzing data to enhance campaigns.
• Co-creating the promotion strategy and key projects of StartSmart CEE.
• Building our image in relationships with ecosystem partners across the CEE region.
• Engaging with our community on selected social media channels.
• Building relationships with Polish and international media and trade media.
• Implementing PR activities and managing relations with startup media, including cooperation with external agencies—proposing and preparing content.

We are looking for a person who:

• Is fluent in Polish and English (minimum C2 level in English).
• Is an online marketing geek, an analytical and strategic thinker who can draw the right conclusions from big data.
• Has a knack for writing and the ability to create engaging stories and content.
• Is super organized.
• Is a team player, driven by our joint mission to make Poland and the CEE region one of the best places for startups.
• Is extremely proactive, a creative thinker who can implement innovative ideas, and is willing to take on challenges.
• Is independent and able to set the right priorities, timelines, and milestones.
• Has a high level of personal culture.

Your Work Experience:

• Experience in a similar position, confirmed by a reliable portfolio.
• Experience in online marketing.
• Experience in managing communication and moderating social media channels.
• Experience working with trends, and new formats available on platforms, blogs, websites, and marketing tools.
• Experience running paid campaigns via Google Ads and Meta, and knowledge of marketing automation tools and the CEE start-up ecosystem, will be a big plus.
